My special skill is saying things in a way which allows the message to get past the limitations of mind and into the body, the place where any real and lasting change begins. Oft times we tell ourselves we want to change something for years before we take action on making it true in our lives; this is a part of the process. Please, don’t shame yourself for what is such an important part of the process of change… preparation. Shame is a useless affect. It blocks the needed resources which allow change to happen. Instead, congratulate yourself for coming to the place where you are ready to call in support and do the next step, which is to bring the desire out of your head and into action.
I’m here to support you in making the small changes which will lead to long-lasting results. My job isn’t to amuse you. It is to be a muse for your taking a stand for yourself. I’ll probably make you laugh while we are at it, but I will not enable you to make excuses for continuing small behaviour.
Some resources I use to support your new way of showing up in the world…
- I use metaphor and allegory to relay concepts not so easily understood by the rational mind.
- I assist in clearing the clutter from your mind, clearing the clutter in your home and in your gut, through diet. Whether I assist in decluttering your home or your mind, we will proceed in a way which leaves shame, blame and self-degradation at the door. AND–hopefully–a few bags of no longer needed household stuff as well!
